Introduction to Impact Management: One Day Training Course

We are excited to announce a one day Introduction to Impact Management course. This training  focusses on the social value principles and their application in measuring your organisation or programme’s impact. It is intended as an introductory course and is most suitable to project managers, analysts, and other staff who have little experience with theory of change and who want to improve how they plan for and understand the impact of their work.

This course will cover:

• Introduction to impact management
• The principles of social value
• The impact management cycle
• Understanding stakeholders
• Mapping outcomes
• Building a theory of change
• Using a theory of change to plan for and manage impact

Who should attend:

• Leaders in corporations, organisations, government agencies, or social enterprises working to create positive impact
• Policy makers
• Project managers
• Professionals who are interested in telling the story of impact

This training course is delivered by Dr Sneha Lakhotia, New Zealand’s first and only SROI Advanced Practitioner and Trainer.  She has over ten years of experience with government, corporate and not-for-profit sectors on health, social and environmental issues and opportunities across the globe. Sneha has worked with several organisations to help them better understand, measure and manage their social impacts, and embed social value into their practices.

Please note this training is an introductory course and does not meet the prerequisite to sit the SROI level one certification. We recommend researchers, consultants, and others with significant experience in impact management attend our more comprehensive SROI Practitioner Course.
