Join us in a free webinar with Dr Adam Richards from Social Value International and the Efiko Impact Academy on Wednesday 21 April, 2pm on zoom.
About this webinar:
We are passionate about transforming community engagement from a tick the box activity to a meaningful process which informs and directs projects and initiatives. In this webinar we will discuss not only how to engage meaningfully with stakeholders, but how to take these insights and embed them into your approach.
Social Return on Investment is a methodology for understanding, measuring and managing the social impact of a project or initiative. It is principles-based, starting with the principle to engage with stakeholders. We believe that social impact can only be truly understood (and therefore managed) by listening to how stakeholders value the changes they experience.
For example, in a program about nutrition and growing your own food, your stakeholders might indeed gain new skills and confidence in these areas. However, the main reason they keep coming back might actually be for the connections and community they have developed together, which gives them a sense of belonging and reduces social isolation. The only way to gain insights like these and use them to develop your program to maximise its impact (eg by focusing on socially isolated people in your recruitment) is to fully engage with your stakeholders and understand the change through their perspective.
In this webinar Adam will discuss these concepts and introduce the Social Return on Investment approach as a way to measure and manage impact by placing stakeholders at the heart.
